These little green rafts were folded beautifully and trapping gas bubbles!

These little rafts were trapping some of the leaves and twigs too.
On the edges, you could see the beautiful mat filaments! Sometimes even forming lovely little tufts!
Very reminiscent of some of the early signs of life! Geobiology is awesome!
